WCF and Silverlight
Most application developers have had little need to use the .Net Windows Communications Framework (WCF) in their applications other than to consume services written by others. Now, Silverlight development makes WCF a critical part of any application that wishes to interact with a database. In this presentation, you will see several best practices for using WCF services in your Silverlight applications. These include ways to organize your services for reusability and testability, how to write service clients that work effectively with the Silverlight asynchronous model, and techniques to avoid some of the common pitfalls when developing your own WCF Services.
